HOW TO ARRIVE IN RIMINI

By plane you have 4 options :

1) Check the Rimini Airport at http://www.riminiairport.com/index.php/en/flights-timetables/destination-list to see if you can find a direct flight (consider also the option to flight to Rome and from Rome to Rimini).

2) Check the Forli’ Airport at http://www.forliairport.com/main/index.php?id_pag=66 .
Once in the airport you need to take a aerobus to the Forli’ station followed by a train to Rimini. The bus timetable is here http://www.forliairport.com/main/index.php?id_pag=110  The train Forli’/Rimini takes around 30 minutes and costs around 5 €. You can check the train availability here http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage_en.html
Otherwise is possible to take a taxi from the airport to Forli’ station (11€ up to 4 people) or directly to Rimini for around 100€ (up to 4 people).

From Bologna airport there is an handy bus to the train station (it takes around 20 minutes and costs 5€) where you can catch a train to Rimini. The travel duration Bologna/Rimini is of around 1 hour and the train are quite frequent (at least one every 50 minutes, but usually every 30’). The train ticket costs around 8€. You can check the train availability here http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage_en.html
It’s not feasible to take a taxi or a bus from Bologna airport to Rimini.

3)  Another option is represented by the Ancona Airport. Here you can see the flights http://www.aeroportomarche.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=105
Also Ancona is 1 hour away from Rimini.
From Ancona airport you can catch a bus to Ancona Train Station or a train just in front of the airport (“Castelferretti” station).
From Ancona Station you can take a train to Rimini (around 1 hour for 8€/ ticket).
You can check the train availability here http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage_en.html
A taxi from the airport to Rimini costs around 150/200 € depending on the traffic.

We're going to fly to Milan and then to take the train. Isn't it too complicated?
